Linked to Australia’s largest mortgage broking aggregator Australian Finance Group, Home Sweet Loans has successfully expanded through the provision of quality personalised and ethical customer service. Our business is 100% referral based. HSL also provides home loan services & is a trusted adviser to several of Australia’s leading property land developers in SE Qld.
Tarek Baytieh – Managing Director
Tarek has over 30 years of extensive experience in finance and customer service, in both the private and public sectors. Tarek holds a Diploma of Finance & Mortgage Broking Management, Certificate IV in Financial Services (Finance/Mortgage Broking) and is a Member of MFAA. Tarek possesses a wealth of knowledge in the home loan and investment property markets, has undertaken several property development projects, and owned several investment properties. A ‘straight shooter’ & known for his genuine honesty, Tarek takes pride in & sets a very high standard in the services provided to HSL Clients, & considers all their Clients as ‘family’.
Tarek is a devoted father of 4 adorable children, & his personal interests include fishing, playing Soccer, & avidly following his beloved Brisbane Lions AFL Team. He (secretly) does like mowing his lawn too!

Rachel Rosenberg – Client Care Team
Rachel initially commenced with HSL in 2013, & despite several attempts to break free, she’s back for her 3rd stint with the Home Sweet Loans family! In her time with us, Rachel developed exceptional knowledge and skills in our business, & is now responsible for managing our Clients post settlement needs. Rachel takes great pride in providing excellent customer service and ensuring every client is treated with kindness & professionalism.
With a highly infectious laugh, Rachel is a ‘free spirit’ who enjoys travelling, cycling & yoga. Once you’re on board, you can expect to hear from Rachel.
Naomi Clements – Client Care Team
Our newest Team Member, Naomi joined us in August 2023. With a strong passion for customer service and communication, and a natural creative drive, Naomi is always looking for ways to continuously improve and develop her skills. Whatever the challenge, Naomi undertakes it with an open mind and positive attitude.
Naomi loves bargain hunting at Op-shops and vintage markets, and spends her recreational time enjoying various creative pursuits including writing and playing the piano. She also enjoys Pilates and Ballet classes.
